How to display a progress bar on the Dashboard Gadget

Create a progress field

1. Install Epic Sum Up
2. Navigate to the "Custom fields" section in the "Issues" settings
3. Add a new "(Epic Sum Up) Progress" custom field
4. Assign the new field to the necessary screens

Navigate to the progress bar field configuration

1. Navigate to the "Custom fields" section in the "Issues" settings
2. Search for the new progress field and click on the cog icon
3. Choose the "Configure" option in the dropdown
4. Click on "Edit Progress bar"

Configure the progress bar

1. Activate the "Use customfield configuration" toggle
2. Choose the value that should be displayed in the progress bar
3. Choose the display format for this field
4. Define further configurations for the field

Add an "(Epic Sum Up) Filter Results" gadget

1. Navigate to any dashboard in the "Dashboards" section
2. Click on "Add gadget" on the top right
3. Search for the "(Epic Sum Up) Filter Results" gadget
4. Click on "Add gadget" next to the gadget
5. Close the add screen, by clicking on the "X" Button on the top right

Add the Story Points progress field to the Filter Results gadget

1. Choose a filter to define, which issues are displayed
2. Click on the dropdown below "Columns to display"
3. Look for the progress field, that was previously created
4. Click on the field to add it to the displayed columns
5. Click on "Save"
