Why are my completed issues not displayed as completed in the progressbar?

The progress of issues is based on the resolution. This means the status does not affect the completion of the progress.

If they are missing anyways, check if the option Ignore remaining time for closed issues is correctly disabled.

Which addons is Epic Sum Up compatible to?

Epic Sum Up works with a clear assignment of issues. That is why we insist on using either an Epic Link or a Container Link at the same time.

What is the meaning of the colours in the time progress bar?

Green = Time spent within estimation

Grey = Estimated time

Light-Red = Remaining estimate time over original estimation

Red = Time spent over original estimation

White (dotted line) = Time spent + remaining time under original estimation

How to roll-back to an older Version of Epic Sum-Up?

Because Epic Sum Up doe not save any values and everything is done at runtime, going back to a previous version can be done in a few quick steps.


  1. Navigate to the Manage apps section within your Jira Administration and find Epic Sum Up.
  2. Choose the uninstall option and confirm that you want to uninstall.

  3. Head over to the version history at the Atlassian Marketplace page of Epic Sum Up and choose the version you'd like to install.


  4. Head back to Manage apps within Jira and choose the option Upload app to choose the file you downloaded from the Atlassian Marketplace.



  5. You have now successfully installed a previous version of Epic Sum Up.

My Summary Panel isn't displaying any values for number fields, even though they are displayed in the Detail View Editor

In this case you should check the corresponding field configuration and check if the selected searcher is number search. 
If it is not we advise to set it to number search, as the Summary Panel won't be able to find the values otherwise.  

After changing the searcher you should perform a re-index of your Jira instance.
